Daily itinerary:Day 1Arrive on Renvyle Peninsula. Warm welcome and chance to settle in. If there is time we will allocate bikes and equipment. Dinner tonight is not included to facilitate guests arriving from other parts of Ireland. For early arrivals there is the possibility to dine in either Renvyle House Hotel or restaurants in Tully. Day 2 Short maintenance talk and explanation of route options. Your cycle today will bring you to Cleggan, from where you will take the ferry to Inishboffin island, where you will stay the night to sample the island feel. The way passes Kylemore Abbey, the fairypalace of West Ireland, and Letterfrack home of the Connemara National Park (29km). The longer version meanders around the coastline of Lettergesh and Tully. We will collect the bicycles and equipment from Cleggan and give you your overnight pack to take with you on the ferry. Stay the night in hotel (alternatively B&B), where dinner is served for you. Afterwards enjoy the island feel in the pubs, where a traditional Irish music session may be in full swing. Day 3 Inishboffin has one of the finest deep harbours on the West coast of Ireland with safe, sandy beaches and is an ideal spot for swimming, canoeing, diving etc. The island is also a favourite spot for rock-climbing, hill-walking, cycling and angling. Irish traditional music takes Inishboffin to its heart and world class musicians visit it regularly. Dessie O'Halloran a singer from the island is now well known. Not to forget the many historical ruined buildings such as Cromwell's Barracks at the harbour entrance, and the Abbey of St. Coleman among others. There are also many kinds of birds as well as colonies of seals and if you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of visiting dolphins or whales and sharks. Enjoy the many attractions that Inishboffin island has to offer you before we will collect you with speed-boat at approx 15.00 to bring you back to hotel. If we are lucky a school of dolphins will play with the boat on the way back, a most magic experience. Stay the night again in Renvyle House Hotel with dinner included. Day 4 Depart after breakfast
