Experiential Learning - Combining Business with the Outdoors
Killary has teamed up with coaching company, XenerGie, to provide a range of courses that help develop great people for outstanding companies. Combining Killary's tradition in the outdoors with XenerGie's experience in organisational behaviour and personal development coaching, we provide training that is not only great fun and innovative, but has solid application in the business environment and in everyday life.
We bring in a variety of business and psychotherapeutic thinking and techniques, from Belbin to Jung and newer lines of practice such as NLP, self-hypnosis, shamanism and meditation. The result - fresh thinking and inspiration with a practical foundation.
What we Do
All our programmes are tailored to the needs of each individual client and bring concrete business benefit as well as a motivational experience. Typically, they may include any of the following objectives:
- Bring Synergy to Teams. We help make a team stronger and give people a better understanding the dynamics of teams and the interactions of people, including personality profiles (using psychological profiling eg. Belbin and the Enneagram) and practical information on how to make a team effective.
- Positive Communication and Personal Effectiveness. 70% of workplace problems usually originate in poor communication and learning to communicate effectively is a core skill for everyone. We explain how communication is far more than language - we coach people on how to listen, how to get their message across, how to exude charisma, how resolve conflict and how to build lasting rapport.

This course looks at the issues of cultural diversity at work, overcoming the challenges and techniques and tips for motivating and managing virtual teams.
